I had one but quickly got rid of it. Doing any modifications is a pain in the a** they don't use standard pvc sizes. Now I'm using the aquamaxx. Have been for over a year with 0 issues. Good luck with your search Eric.

I've got one you can have for $20 but I need to make sure the pump works first. And you need to clean it. ;)

Are you using the new circular one from Aquamaxx? I never had aquamaxx before but I have the cadlight reactor on my 225 now and I like it.

I was able to convert mine to all standard size plumbing. Only thing I keep and utilize was the 2 way valve. I'm currently using the aquamaxx biomaxx, since I was unable to fit the BR-1 in my current setup. Honestly, the tumble on the biomaxx sucks, certain area the pellets don't move at all unless you full throttle it.

Erics1975, are you planning on using the BR-1 on your new setup? It might not be sufficient for your total water volume.
