I currently have a 2' Hamilton Halide Lighting system;
14k MH
and 4 50/50 lights...

I am looking to really bring out the lights for my corals and fish. I was thinking of replacing the 50.50's with Pure Atinics.

What do you guys think? Any posts will be appreciated, pictures too with the set up.

I am looking for a deep look, I will be getting more SPS but its all around reef and fish tank..

Thanks

I would go with the giesemann actinic + and a KZ fiji purple. MH I would go Radium if you can. The Ushio is way too blue for my taste, but to each their own.

It may be my interpretation of what he said, but I took it as he wanted more color out of his fish and coral. Drowning something with blue won't necessarily bring out all of the colors and in most cases it will suppress many of them.

Yes, I do not want it to look too blue, I know I will get sick of it... I am mainly looking to bring out more colors from my fish and corals.

Just ordered my lights from Clifford at Coral Gazers. Will have them by tomorrow! I am stoked!
Went with 3 geisseman actinic+ and 1 true actinic! Lets see how these work!
