I want to get some feed back about how much light is needed and for how long (period of time) during the day i should have them on.

So i currently have a 4x2x2 tank and have 2 gen 2 radions with 2 48in T5s. Would you guys recommend more light? And for how long would u say to keep them on??

All feed back will be greatly appreciated.

@Evoreefer what type of coral are you keeping under these lights, and what intensity or program are you running on the radions.
Im running 24 reefbreeder V2 on regular 40gal tank at 40% for the blue and purple LEDs and 10% on red, white,
And greens LEDs. I also run a small coralife T5 fixture for about 2 hrs while the LED fixture is at full insensity.
It seems like youre current lights should be more then enough for your tank, you just have to set the right intensity on the radions,
And focus on water quality and stability.

My intensity is at 48% ..... with a templet that is already on the reeflink website for the radions. Its more of a blueish color. And my t5 are purple+ and blue+ i believe.

I have an SB Reef 16" over my 60 cube, 24x24x24". My light is 9" above my tank, all softies, and I run blues for 8.5 hours at 70% and whites for 7.5 hours at 25%. I've had these lights for just over a year and cannot find a happy spot at lower or higher intensity. I know some people run their LEDs 12+ hours a day. I feel 8 hours is plenty. I ran my T5s for 6.5 hours a day for years and that was plenty. I don't understand LEDs at all. No matter what I do my shrooms (hairy's) keep getting smaller, transparent, even some have bleached. I've asked everywhere, even drove the owner of the company nuts trying to figure out my lights, no luck so far.

You have enough light. Id say leave the t5s on for 7-8 hours with the radions at ~40%. The t5s are sufficient for SPS. If you see any signs of lightening/bleaching of corals (sps) lower the intensity of the radions.

I had those same lights. used Coral Lab setting at 50% for 8 hours and 2 hours ramp up and 2 hours ramp down. Also, depends how high your lights are from the surface. Mine were about 8" from the water
