well, some of you know, some don't, but i am not going to be around much longer, navy is transferring me. and i don't feel the tank will survive with my wife in charge. so i want some help deciding its fate. please give me your vote, this poll does not make it final, just seeing what everyone thinks.
thank you
jon

jon where are you going!!!?!? The pirates booty I have didin't make it BTW. The little clump of 5 floated off in the current never to be seen again and the 3 got stung once by the torch and that was the end of them.. :( Seriously, I'll keep anything you want and return it to you when you are ready to get up and running again.

How long is the deployment another suggestion is have a closest establish tank or other member adopt it while your gone and reclaim the live stock when you come back and just put the equipment in a small storage at your place

well, i will be gone from san diego for 9 months, then i will be moving to who knows where, maybe san diego, maybe not. once i have moved i will be deploying for 6 months and not home much of the time, it would be a total of nearly 3 years my wife would have to attend the tank.

Jon I sent you a pm. Also think about a nano wherever you go and set it up with your favorite frags or colonies that way you still have your favorite pieces

Wow! For those of us that didn't know you were in the service...This was a little hard to read...
It just sounded like it was going a different way.

Sell it, put the money in a savings account, when you are ready to get back in, you'll have a good start.

I agree with this one. It'll build in the account. If you were to save the equipment half of the stuff will be out dated. So i think you should keep the money, that way you can have a truly nice system when your ready. :top: Good luck and thanks!:proud:
