I almost quit the hobby guys/girls. After 3+ years...following the death of my first fish: a clownfish and my favorite powder brown Tang. I was ready to give up. Out of all the people...I would not have guessed that my wife would be the one to tell me to stay in the hobby.
"You spend too much time with that tank" "You pay more attention to the fish tank than me".
Because of negligence, I lost my two fish and some nice frags. Escrow took up a lot my time. And now I'm glad to say that I am a proud homeowner. So I am now here asking if someone is getting rid of a 200+ gallon tank because I do not want to keep my 150 gallon tank.

Let me know what you guys have or suggestions.

Thanks

Does anyone have experience with glasscages.com? I was thinking o going with them for my 200g rimless.
I've seen a few of their tanks at shows and they look really nice. I'd assume that you'd have to spend a fat chunk of change on shipping though.

yes they do make sure you use correct thickness of glass. but i feel safer with euro brace too there is one builder who made a 5x3x2 tank 3/4" starphire tank rimless. let see how long that tank holds up. yikes.

I have a friend that has a 225 gallon in his garage, it has corner overflows on both sides with Black back. Tank is on Black wood stand with canopy and could use some paint. It would need some cleaning, but could pick up cheap. Hit me up if you are interested.

I love the look of the eurobraced aquariums. I may go that route instead. I was a bit worried going with rimless bc of the lack of support on a huge tank like this. The black silicone looks really nice too.

depending on the color of the back of the tank and type of glass you use. if you use a light color back like white. i think white silicone will look cleaner. if you use a black back then black silicone will look better. AGE does a nice big rimless tank but service is horrible. ask pciscott. but SCMAS did a group buy on their tanks and they did a awesome job. but they are pretty spendy

Here is a pic Tank, Stand, Canopy, and some dry rock for $500. Pick up in Lakewood.

The tank was wet until about 6 months ago and friend is looking to reclaim some space in his garage.

Looks like the customer service issues have been cleared up. They are much more responsive then back when Scott ordered. They said the were going through some growing pains around that time. I am sure all will agree that with Chris taking over sales, things have been great.
