Looking for new banner

The current banner is awesome (Thanks Gal) and definitely a step up from the original banner:laugh: But I want to see other options out there. I'm looking for a banner that will represent this site, hopefully, forever and will be the official logo. Now that we have more members, hopefully some of you guys are creative in graphic designs. We, of course, will decide on the final banner. I know Mac Inger will be submitting a few. Go ahead and post the banner on this thread. And we will give inputs on it. Thanks again Guys. Mike do you plan to change the color scheme of the forums ?
I have always been a fan of the grey/darker schemes, mkes it easier on the eyes. Just asking so i can make some different color combinations

Im not sure yet. Seems like this style is most popular with the crowd. Maybe make a blue light banner and also a darker one for the darker styles in the future?

I agree with liking the darker color schemes on the forums. Also, darker backgrounds lend themselves to more dynamic/interesting/attractive banners/logos. Just like black tank backgrounds. All IMO of course...

I personally like the current style of the banner. The palm trees are a nice touch combined with the mixed fish and coral to give a very California look. The only thing that could make it look more "Cali" would be to add a wild fire and people driving while on their cell phones

If anything maybe keep the same banner background but beef up the title font. I'd like to see a darker blue theme to the pages themselves that matches the ocean blue background in the header. The generic vB colors are... well, generic. JMHO

I like all of them hah hah.

The current banner is okay, though I think it's a tad too picture perfect.

I like where McInger's going with his/her ideas; something more dark, sombre and futuristic.

His,...Mac is a dood Well thats my style i like it polished and a little more proffessional looking. Im not into all the flowery stuff. Just because we like corals and fish doesnt mean we have to wear hawaian shirts and sandals I was going to do some more but seems like the people have spoken....

The banners i made would be much nicer with a darker/greyer forum layout i guess.
