I found awesome silicone pads at Daiso (Japanese dollar store). It was cheap and works really well for dampening.

Ok, so here's the deal...I plumbed the water blaster, turned it on and nothing! I remove the volute, the impeller barely spins, so I think I'm f----d because it probably rusted and expanded. I try to pull the impeller off, and I snap the shaft off. So Now the impeller magnet is jammed inside the motor block. So I've decided to go with the Laguna Max Flo 2400 instead.

Cool. I used three layers of mouse pads from the 99 cent store, but they float up.

In my experience Iwaki have been basically bulletproof. Maybe a bit on the noisy side though.
