I wanted to clean my fuge so since I had everything out of it I decided to try out Miracle mud. I have read so many reviews that ranging from snake oil to amazing. I'm not changing anything on my system just adding the new substrate. I will let you know if I see any difference in my tank. My fuge is pretty small so I only can fit three pounds of it. I think the recommended amount is like ten pounds so I don't think I will see much. But it was only 30 bucks so I said what the hell. Has anybody here tried it???

I've used it in all my tanks for the last few years, ranging from 5 gallon to 70 gallons. I haven't noticed issues other than the water being dirtied when you mix it it up. I can't say that I've noticed any amazingness either but if it's not hurting it's probably helping in some way.

I need to replace 1/2 of mine and add some more soon but I was actually considering switching to Fiji Mud because it's a little lower cost.

I used in in my 45g and Ivebeen getting awesome color and growth. I don't know if its because of the miracle mud but I do have a lot of pods in the fuge along with a whole bunch of mysis shrimp running around.

Used it over a year... then havent for several. No noticeable difference. I dont think it has many benefits to be honest.

I ran it on my 50 gallon. I didn't notice any difference and made a mess when stirred up. Who knows though
The way my sump is set up it will work well for the mud. The flow is pretty slow and skims off the top. Weather it does anything for my tank is another story. I put it in a container so it will be easy to remove if I want to get rid of it.

I've never tried it. I've always noticed mixed reviews, like everything else ;) It will be interesting to see how it works out for you.
