which skimmer? the black one? its a ati powercone 200i. the white one is a deltec tc 2560 external just have a self cleaning head on top.

No need for a skimmer for FW planted tank.

I just changed my 1262 to one of these for more flow. I am not sure about reliability (1 yr warranty) but these pumps are so dang quiet with great flow and they are adjustable, incase you didn't know that already jk .
