Hello guys so here is my story, I've been successfully keeping corals close to 2 years. Whenever I've had problems with my tank I figured them out pretty quickly and fixed them. However, for the passed 2-3months most of my Lps are receding and slowly peeling of the bones, I can't figure out what it is and why it is happening... I have had swings in my alk and ca throughout 2 years. But 2 weeks ago I got a bm doser so my parameters are stable. I can finally see my acros grow . Sps are doing better Lps are dying. I've lost acans, chalices, favias, lobos, hammers, brain coral. If anyone have had the same problem please help me out, I've lost a ton of corals already :/ any suggestions are welcome, I might have overlooked something.
Ca 440 alk 9 p phosphates 0 rest is 0 mag 1300.

If you ask my opinion. Double check your PO4 and salinity.. Notice on mine if it's to clean. lps don't like it as I have sps dominant tank and end up going the other way that why I feed mine to accommodate its survival. Salinity, I keep mine @ 1.25 everyone is happy

Do u feed them? I usually feed once a week. I do notice my lips and euphyllia get smaller when I forget. If alk, mag, and flow are good it might be a possibility.

I had that like 2 weeks ago. It cause by too much bacteria that i introduced. Only lps are affected. Think of something you put on your tank recently. I believe a big water change will solve it

Your PO4 is too low. That's why your sps are happy but LPS aren't. Honestly 0 is even low for sps. Try to raise it to .05 . Even that might be too low for LPS. Try to raise it a little and be sure to feed your LPS.

When I had stray voltage in the tank my LPS receded too.

Thank you guys for the replies, I just did a very large water change I'm planning on doing another one in a few days, I'm leaning towards the bacterial bloom. Will keep this updated in case others have the same problem

Is this base on your experience or been study and proven? I'm just curious myself as why people say LPS likes dirty and doesn't do well in a clean environment. The reason I've asked because all my LPS has been with me for over a year and are super healthy and my P04 level has always been around .03 or under.
