I was planning on building a wood stand but time will not permit this so I had to order a steel stand. They day I went to buy the wood I saw this and it gave me a laugh.
Anyways, tank and stand are on order. Here are some of the specifics.
130g SPS Dom shallow tank build:
48x30x21 lit by 4 Gen4s and 4 T5 bulbs driven by old school Icecap ballasts ( I will start with only using one side to see the difference in growth and color in comparison)
Steel stand fit with:
Vertex Supra Sump
1" Returns fitted with a Vectra L1 to achieve a true 1300 Turnover from my return alone if the sump permits it lol
Aqaumaxx Co-3 Skimmer until the tank is ready for the BK upgrade
GEO Calcium reactor with custom dual stage regulator
Geo Kalk Reactor
Diy Chaeto Reactor to cultivate pods for Pinky my Mandarin
Aqua UV Sterilizer
Im sure I missed some stuff but its a start

Heres a pic of my sump

I have one on order from CD as well. Seems like they're pretty backed up. My tank has been delayed a few times already. Funny, I also had Willy make my stand. Great minds think alike! lol
Ordered it from Crystal Dynamics. Can't get here soon enough

Tank is finally here. Sat in my living room on its pallet for 4 days before I had the chance to get it to its resting place. Im hoping to get it running in the next month or so.

Got my return plumbed last week, fits like a glove. Running the Vectra L1 ( I hope this is a good pump, please feel free to chime in) that will stay 1' to 2 returns and split to run my chiller reactor and uv sterilizer.

Had a shelf installed and started with my custom fitment. The drains will be final plumbed in red and white furniture pvc. Waiting for that stuff to come in next week. Another piece to the puzzle

The bottome of the tank has been sealed but I installed sheet of red pvc. I prefer this stuff; it durable and water resistant. I built this shelf are to house my 4 magnetic stirrers and one of the two GhL dosing units that I will be running to dose all my elements. A Calcium reactor and Kalk reactor will also he housed underneath this area.

Here is some progress. The shelf still needs to be drilled and painted. The red pvc insterts are used to give it a clean look and hide most of the wiring

This is a model of what the front will look like. Most red panels are attached with magnets so they are easily removed when need to work on the tank.
