I haven't been to any MACNA event, how different is it from reefapalooza/MAX? Are these mostly exhibits that showcase new techs and products? Last expo I went to they weren't selling much except the coral exhibitors of course.

There will be many manufacturers selling stuff as well as the livestock vendors. This is Reefapalooza on steroids. 24 speakers over three days, a killer reception Friday night, banquet on Saturday night, raffles every day with awesome prizes. Over 13,000 gallons of seawater will be on display in various tanks in almost every booth. See how close Step Ahead Innovations is to releasing the Mindstream aquarium monitor. They will be there. See what new and exciting corals Jason Fox has to offer. If it is relevant to our hobby, it will be on display at MACNA. Walt Smith has also donated a 10 day, all expense paid trip to Fiji. Incredible opportunity. This show is definitely worth a short trip down to San Diego.
