It never grew in my sump but I started growing in my 2 small tanks and it's taking off pretty good now. I'll post a pic in a sec. I get flame tips in one tank, but not the other lol. No clue why.

I have no idea. I got it from Tongs for $10 last week. They still have a couple left I think. It looks cool though :) I can't take good pics right now. The lights are off and it's causing reflection. I'll take a better one when they come on.

Niiice haha this turned more into a "let's see your macro algae" thread. I'd be interested in a bit of all. I was thinking of setting up a small macro algae tank with a couple sea horses. So I'm just looking atm

I used to keep different kinds in the refugium. But then I threw in a hermit crab and the little punk ate a bunch of them :/

I had quite a few different macros but I let them grow out of hand and some out-competed others and some withered away. Here is an old picture. The red grape is now the size of the calerpa on the left but is currently covered in snow lol

Nice! Macro looks so pretty in the DT. I'm gonna track down a few nice pieces and start growing more. It gives the tank such a natural look. Probably makes for really good filtration on my small tanks as well.
