Hi,first I have a question I'm running mj1200 as a return pump for my 20gallon long(5~6ft tall), and I recently got a mag7. But I think the mag7 is too big for my overflow(eeshop nano rate 200gallon). Am i right?
If so I'd like to trade with some smaller pump.
Thanks.

If decide to trade for the Mag7, let me know. Did you buy it brand new? I have a pump I can trade towards it. My tank is 40gal, deciding which Mag drive would work for my tank. Leaning towards Mag9.5, but not sure yet.

I would say try it and see if the drain can keep up, you might be a little high on the side. If your return pipe is 5 feet the mag5 will push 350gph. You might need to go to a mag 3.5. If you do let me know, I think I have one thats about 4 months old (not sure though it might be a mag 5 I will need to check)
