Mantis Shrimp: Who has one? How does one care for them?

As far as feeding was concerned silversides,krill, clams chunks or raw shrimp from the grocery store would work anything meaty and some tongs until you feel comfortable or drunk enough to feed him by hand. I had mine for about six years I bought him from ATM in Vegas transferred him home to Southern California and he would gently take food from my hand.

I had one as a hitchhiker in a frag tank a while back. I don't think it takes much to keep one of these guys since it was thriving in a tank with no specific feedings for him. Didn't even know I had him until one day I tried feeding squid to my fishies and the bugger poked out and snatched it from my tongs

Yeah, totally want one. But the peacocks are the prettiest, get big, and could crack your tank. I'm so over cracking tanks right now, lol!
