I'm looking for a Masterflex to feed my tank effluent from my calcium reactor.

My understanding is that I want:
Brushless if possible
6-600RPM (adjustable speed)
Easy Load 2 head, ideally Stainless Steel parts

Please let me know if you have something. Ebay has a lot, some for very cheap, but some look like they have been through WWII. Hoping to get a deal from a fellow reefer who no longer needs theirs or has an un-needed spare.

I have Paypal and live in the Central Coast of Cali.

Thanks,
Ben

are you using this as a feed for the CaRx? Pretty pricey feed pump, most use aqualifter or plumb it to their return manifold then use a needle valve or pinch valve to control the effluent output.

I have tried all of those other options with no success. plumbing it into the manifold means that any time manifold pressure changes, you need to adjust your needle/pinch valve. Needle valves and pinch valves seem to clog frequently and not be reliable at delivering a reasonably exact ml/hour, I have used about 4 different varieties with the same level of success.

I think that is why many folks turn to the Masterflex. It just works, precisely, day after day, year after year. You just set it to fit your tanks consumption, test ALK now and then to see if it needs to be sped up or slowed down, and let it ride. maybe replace the peristaltic tubing once every several months for a few bucks.

I appreciate the input though! Man I wish an aqualifter would do it for me, it would save me a bunch of $$.

ah man I hear you. Maybe some one will chime in with other options, but good luck with your search. I am pretty sure someone here has one laying around from there reefing days or have moved on to bigger and better methods
