So I recently bought an awesome ultra blue maxima clam and I placed it on top of a small piece of live rock on the sand bed in hopes that it would readily attatch itself to the rock. Unfortunately, my clam seems to hate rockwork and it keeps jumping off and landing straight on the sand bed. I have a 4" dsb and it likes to burry itself a whole inch into the sand. it seems happy there. Would you guys move it and keep trying to get it to attach to a rock or would you suggest I just let it be? Thanks oh and my current lighting is a maxspect razor 160w the distance from the sand bed to the light is about 34" (I have no way to measure PAR) I havet the light at 40%whites 60% blue

Don't move it. It keeps moving off the rock for a reason...it prefers the sand. If you continue to move it it will stress out. Just let it be where it wants.
