Try to get the reef Nutrition guy to speak. He's an encyclopedia on fish food and on things the food industry's adds to seafood to "beef" it up.

I couldn't get the crowd to excited but I think when someone speaks on something the most important thing is to be genuine and get the crowd involved. Last thing you want is a dude just yappin his gums the entire meet.

I really would like to hear about bio-pellets, refugiums and remote deep sand beds. by the way when is the next IEMAS meeting? I've only been able to make one meeting but I'm going to try harder lol

1st Friday of every month. So next month it's the 1st.

Good ideas everyone! I have another crappy one if all else fails, since I still have all of Richards dead coral skeletons, maybe he can go up and name them so that we know what specific corals look like when dead

Donate them to a calcium reactor user. Or make a nitrification area in your sump.

Lets do filtration- I can put together a good presentation pretty easily unless someone else would like to present this month?

Product reviews and raves would be cool. Perhaps it's a bit biased of a discussion, but hearing what products work out great for people could be helpful. Or maybe just present a few similar products and have a 2 minute round table discussion on them. Ie, what 2-part chems people like to use. Which GFO media works well. Biomedia preferences. Etc.
