Has anybody tried mixing the A.I. Led Modules together ?

I run 4 A.I.sol blues, and am thinking about upgrading to either the Vega or Hydra Fifty Two. I use the hanging rail kit, and I think they would all would hang on it...

Thoughts ???

Thank you

They will all work on rail kit but mixing colors might be weird. Is the upgrade to 52 out yet? I know they are selling the fixture already

What controller are you using? Also are you using the EXT rails or the older sol rails? The hydras will line up on the older sol rails since it's the same heatsink but the vega uses a different mounting setup so not sure they will work. Unless you're getting a great deal on the vegas I'd go 52s. I think the vegas are being phased out by AI

Shouldn't be a problem with the hydras as they use the same heatsink as the sols. Just not sure with the vegas.

Edit: Actually It looks like the 52s use the vega heatsinks so I'm not sure with those now. Sorry bout that. I'd email AI and see. They're super fast in replying back to you.

I've been asking justin every three weeks about the upgrade from vega to hydra52. I just received email last week that they should have a pricing path soon.

Though how much could it be? Figure the price different new is 100.00$ per light.

I was going to buy 3 more Vegas so I could cover my tank (6 Vegas) but justin suggested I wait and upgrade my three Vegas to hydra52 raise them 6" and get my complete coverage.

Ahhh.

Its not the hydra 52 set though. Its the regular hydra. I'm sure they will do a 52 upgrade kit soon though.

The new Hydra 52 should cover a area 36" x 36 ". So on a 6' tank, you will need only 3 Hydra 52's.for complete coverage.
