well i got an anemone, and convinced the lfs to just give me the rock it was on as to not disturb its foot. suprise suprise when i got home and got him into my tank i noticed a polyp, i think. i'm not sure its in a safe place right now due to the anemone. so an id of it and methods of relocating it would be great help.
thanks

I recommend go back to the lfs and get some joes juice or kalk and make into a paste. You dont want to poke or tear at it as any broken pieces will reproduce. If you can get ur anemone off the rock then f/w dip that portion. You can even do it while ur anemone is on the rock if its not too big (dont dip ur anemone though). make him close up first and dip the end w/ the aptaisia for maybe a couple of minutes.

can be difficult while it's on a rock. make him close up first, then turn the whole thing upside down so he's hanging. Use the ball of your thumb or other fingers and gently roll the edges of his foot back until he releases. Using a credit card can also work, but I would only recommend that if he was on a smooth surface. Best bet would probably be to treat each aptasia w/ joe's juice or kalk. seems like u got plenty of space to work with and inspecting the rock should be pretty easy. They likely wont spread in the next couple of days so u can take some time to make sure u got them all.

I use this dental product,GUM Proxabrush Go-Betweens Cleaners, to take out single aiptasia. Lift the rock up and slowly turn it over to expose the aiptasia; Make sure you poke the thing right in the center and twist many turns. The brush clean the aiptasia's body out of its cave...most of the time for me. Put kalk paste over the cave/hole is even better. Joe juice works but I heard people saying the aiptaisia come back in multiple....
