MP 40 QD - How do you like yours?

I finally got around to installing mine yesterday. I have to say I can't even hear it. The wetside is also looks quite durable. I was also able to line it up much easier than my old MPs... not sure if that is a coincidence or the new spacer design. I have one more to install on the other side of my back wall still.

I'm wondering though, for resale purposes, how many will forget to save the individual spacers and not have them when these are sold second hand.

Overall I think it was a great improvement on a great product.

I like mine. Much quieter than the original. Looks a lot different too. Makes you wonder how the could cut the cost. Think they'll last as long as the original?

Yes, this new mp40w qd is dead quiet. It is a great improvement in the department of noise and power from the last version. Glad you are starting to like it. I am currently running this mp40w qd with the xf130.

I love my QD. Very quiet and powerful. I prefer the black controller over the white for looks.

It's running reef crest 100% against my gyre 150 on a long pulse @ 70% and holds its own, giving me great random flow on the gyre pause.

I couldn't be happier with the duo.

I like how you set ur pumps...both of them are rocking ur dt. Do you use two Radion Pros on ur 150g?

All you need is a controller upgrade if I'm not mistaken. I think the wet and dry sides are the same. I would say its worth it.

sweet good to know! got the SPS itch now so I've been running at 100% and the sound is more noticeable now. I get 2 on order to upgrade to the mp10wQD!

I'm glad to see positive feedback on new Ecotech power heads. They are my favorite but I haven't tried QD yet.
