Hey all doing a 36x24x20 LeeMar setup and was wondering if I should do (1) MP40W/es or (2) MP10W/es?

Thanks

Corey

My vote is for 2 MP10's.

I had 1 MP40 on my old 60g cube (24x24x24) and I felt it wasn't enough random flow.

i would have to agree with Juna. some corals will only grow to one side if they are getting hit from one side. and your fish will love the random flow too. if your setting up a nice tank dont cut ur self short.

I went through this same thing. Although I agree with the fellas above, now that I have a bigger tank, my MP10s won't work because of the glass width. If you think you might upgrade sometime soon then I'd go with the MP40. If this tank is meant to be it for a while and the glass is thin enough to use MP10s then I'd do that.

I would do the 1 mp40. if you don't have enough flow you can get something else but if you do 2 mp10s and still do not have enough flow then you would need a third pump and that's too many pumps in my book.

you can never have too much flow. fish love it corals love it. corals will just grow different in different flow areas.
