MP60 review

Pros: :top:
Lots of wide flow!!!!
NEW ES controller (lots of different modes)
controllable flow rate times
on / off button
works on 1" thickness (kinda)
WOW!!, did I mention flow!!, It creates an artificial (Vortex / Coriolis / Gyre) effect in my tank!!


Cons: :thumpdown:
retail price is almost $700.
almost as noisy as the MP40's
Magnet still not strong enough for 1" IMO
Must have all NEW ES controllers to sync together or else it will regress to old functions of old controller causing you to miss out on all the new features.


Over all The MP60 is a beast!! I highly recommend it to anybody who wants lots of wide spread flow and a low electric bill. :beer:

seem like bigger pump create more noise.
I think 1st Gen always have problem, and second Gen is out to fix that problem.

Saw one thread on RC, someone mod it (replace with different bearing) and make MP40 completely quiet, but not sure about MP60.

I only hear mine at 100%, and they get really loud if you dont' have them exactly centered over the magnet. For me even 1mm off center and it makes noise.
