Hey Damon! Idk if you posted on the Welcome Mat yet, but if not then welcome!

Nice tank. I really like 40g tanks...just big enough to have space to grow out corals but not so big that a premium light fixture is outrageously expensive like my 150g. I like your aquascape...it has a high relief...I like that.

If I were you I would ditch the PCs and go with T5s. Less energy demand with higher PAR output, not to mention the color combinations are seemingly limitless. Also I see that you have a dual CPR skimmer. Remove the biomedia and place your heater in there to reduce nitrates AND clutter in your tank. That's what I do!

Anyway, great tank and thanks for sharing! You're doing a good job!

I did put my heater there at one point
but i dont run my skimmer all the time
I would also like to set up a sump and maybe move to leds
I have a 72w T5 and and 36w pc guess i should have added that

Very nice. Having a sump will be a nice addition letting you hide some things. If you go led im sure you will be happy but t5 on a tank that size is very nice as well.
