Hi so i have been on the forums for a while now and never introduced myself or did a welcome thread so i figure now is the time since I'm upgrading my tank!!
Hi, I'm Nik and I currently have a 24 Nano Cube, I'm from Tustin/Santa Ana Area.
Now I'm Upgrading my Nano Cube To my new 65 Gallon Starphire Tank(Thanks Chad & Coral Gazers for great deal on The Tank!!)
Tank Details:
36w X 18d X 24t = Roughly 65 Gallons
CPR Aquafuge Pro Sump Refugium 32 Small
Mag 7 Return Pump
2 Korailas
150w Mh with 2 14w T5 Actinic Bulbs and 4 Night LeDs(fixture is Odyssea)
Might be Upgrading the light(maybe LeDs)
Check Valve
70Lbs Of Sand(20lbs Live)
So Here is the tank when i first saw it and SAID it shall be MINE!!!!
:man_in_love::man_in_love::man_in_love::man_in_love::man_in_love::man_in_love::man_in_love:
This is the tank and old sump)which I'm ditching!
Here is the new sump/fuge I'm going to be using with new tank
(Its A CPR Aquafuge Pro Sump Refugium 32 Small)
(But the only thing is that the Skimmer is no longer in sump)
Here is the tank with old sand...
This is the Overflow and Durso pipe(also you can see the sand after I Cleaned out all the ruble rock, snail and crab shells, and dead coral pieces)
I Went by Coral Gazers earlier this week and took all the dead sand out of the tank and put it in a bucket and now the tank and stand with no sand!
(thanks John @GC for washing the sand!:washing::washing::washing::washing
Also put my new sump under the stand
Cant upload that one for some reason???
Will be picking up the tank today or tomorrow.:a01::a01::a01::a01::a01::a01::a01:
More pics will be coming(plumbing, location, with sand, some rock, and water!!!
So for now thats all....
I would like to thank Chad and John at Coral Gazers AGAIN for all their help and answering all my questions!!!
