Hi there my name is Grant i've been doing reefing now since the mid 70s on and off and my current tank is a 650L mixed reef and has been running now seven years.
I would like to explain myself on why I called myself mr tap water as it was to do with when I first started joining forums I was using tapwater with a conditioner successfully and thought it was appropriate at the time, but for the last two years now have been using RO water.
Here is my tank and how it runs.
Dimensions: L66xW22xH30 ins:
Capacity: 650L.
Substance: 55kg Caribsea seaflor:
Live rock: 85kg.
Lighting: 3xVegas.
Water distribution: 2x6125 2x6095 Tunze.
Filteration: 2x externals EFX600. EFX400:
Inside the externals are Active carbon,Siporax rings,Bionitratex bags, floss and sponges:
Calcium reactor: V2 300 compact:
Two D&D Fmr 75 reactors One for bio pellets and one for Phos remover:
Proteins skimmer: Deltec Mce600:
UV: Eheim Reeflex 800:
Salt brand D&D H20+:
Additives: Iodine:
Tank stats:
SG. 1.025
Cal. 420
KH. 10.2
