I finally pulled the trigger and got me a band used macro lens, its a Tamron 90mm F/2.8 MACRO SP 1:1. I usually just use the auto setting for family pictures and Im not a very good photographer when it comes to taking coral photo. But I've been jealous of all the nice looking photo everyone have been posting so I thought I give it this a try. Here's some photo I took today, let me know what you all think.

Thank you all. I did a search on the lens and the tamron and the sigma keeps coming up, and the 135 dollars price tag wasn't so hard on my pocket either.

Tank ligthing is 8X80 watts T5. the photo was not edited Camera is a Nikon D90 set on a manual mode, I took more than a few dozen pictures some came out out of focus and I dont have a tripod yet.

Here's a few more pictures I took, The chalice was hard to shot with a shaky hands. also it was 3 inches from the front of tank and on sand bed.

No Post work??? Thats impressive if true, share your metadata, would love to know what settings you shot on.

Thats why I use Flickr now, it keeps metadata of the photos.
