Yes...i sm upgrading and just luv the look of the rimless tank....things are little crowded at the estate for all of the residents. So, I just need a bigger real estate to make the resident happier.
Perfect mindset here! ;)
Your stage looks beautiful! Who built it? Can't wait to see the tank setup on it! CAD Lights makes gorgeous tanks!!!

So far, both of the Cadlight and its furniture are looking good as a couple for the first time :). Cannot complain a bit. The sump is also in place and the next step is the plumping.

Here are a few pix to share with you reefers.

I am not too creative on the plumbing. So just decided to go with the old fashion and basic tube plumping set up. No high tech...boring looking plumping and simple.

The next step is sand and water. My question is should put the special grade reef sand and mix salt water in the tank or just mixed salt water and then put the sand in.

Call Age of Aquarium, they can deliver and fill the tank up where it seats and save the hassle. Plus they are not to far away too. Just my opinion.

Finally the tank is wet...it took a few hours and three trips back and forth to A of A. I took some of the lr from the current tank and transfered to the new tank. Not much done with the aquascape...just too tired of carrying the water. I learned a lesson as I go...should have the water delivery and pump in instead. Here are a few pix.

Your colony in the middle is huge! looks awesome man.
I think it is an ORA Green Birdsnest...I bought it at ~1.5" frag about 20-21 months ago. It is now about half a size of a valley ball...very thick and bright green...that colony looks so much better in person than pictures...anyway, very happy with that centre piece so far...by the way, my CEO (wify) designed the aquas cape for me :). I think she did an awesome job :)
