Wow great tank. Sorry for an off topic question, but how was your experience with reef breeders? I ordered a light last weekend and haven't recieved any shipping confirmation. Is that normal? Do they ship pretty fast? Thanks

It took a while to get the lights, took about a month to be honest. I did get a shipping confirmation but not until he actually shipped them. He is replacing a unit I dropped in water, so customer service wise and price wise I would use him again. The lights are great. Sure they are no 500 dollar AI SOL but they are pretty darn close, and a ton cheaper. They took a month because they were not in stock. He now has a phone number listed on the site, give him a call he will give you an update.

I love them, I decided on no canopy (Though I am still going back on forth on this) So I had to rig up a mounting system. They ship with the standard LED wire hangers. They are a solid build, and give off a heck of a lot of light. The blues and the whites are on different dimmers, and very efficient. If I had to do it over again I would buy the same units, they look nice (I still need to manage the wires somehow) suspended above the tank. I have not tested par, maybe one day I will. But so far the couple corals I have and fish seem to like them.

Thanks for the response. So far I've had decent luck with Chinese leds so I hope these do good over a frag tank

Have you considered a black backing on your aquarium? I think it would be really pleasing to the eye and would cover up the mess of cords behind the tank....

Looks real good. Your off to a great start. What do you plan on keeping
Once it is a little more established I am planning on getting a pair of Premium snowflake clowns and a carpet nem. Clowns will come before the nem.

I want the pistol/goby combo.

And really anything that I think looks cool, and would work in my tank. Thats really all I have planned so far for fish, I go back and forth a lot. I like blennies/gobies though So I am sure that I will add a few of those in some variety.

I am a coral addict So i will be slowly adding "named" corals, going for a mixed reef.
