My new 75g

first off, i wanted to say big thanks to exray (Don) for the tank trade and jechew2 (Jon) for the awesome hook up on the light. i really appreciate it!

alright on to the pictures, hard to believe all the rock came from my 60g cube :eek2:.

i'll post more in the am, i'm exhausted! spent 5 hours transferring everything over by my self. :crazy1:

future plans:
-more flow
-play around with the lighting... i <3 T5's
-add more fish
-add coral!!

i recommend KZ fiji purple. seriously. the best bulb ever. brings out reds in EVERYTHING. fish and coral. my flame wrasses look D@mn good.

yeah, i was thinking 1 daytime, 1 purple, and 2 actinic.

i had a hamilton tech purple. no bueno compared to the KZ. but i recommend giesemann actinic+. marine depot has them for $20 a piece and they are arguably the best bulbs. IMO i would set yours up like this assuming u have a 4 bulb fixture

i don't know if this is a problem, but the fixture i am using has a separate timer for the 2 front bulbs and 2 back bulbs.

will this effect bulb placement?

i was thinking having the actinics come on an hour before and after the daytime lights. and then moonlights for an hour right after the actinics.

yeah. mine are the same way. my outside lights come on first but i have a six bulb fixture and the come on 2 at a time starting with the outside 2 and work their way in. i have mine like this.

purple

daylight
blue
blue

for yours i would have the kz and blue come on as actinics so your reds pop then have your daylight and 2nd blue come on after.
