nice..is that the gulf stream Mj mod...i had one..but did not like it...it made to much noise compared to my tunze

Looking good dude. Yeah, you'll need another 250 watter. Stagger the photo periods for each a little so you'll have a longer overall photo period but each light will have a shorter period individually. That way, you'll get the light you need but save a bit of electricity.

got you! like 3 hrs left side 3 hour right side? thanks pook! now gotta look for a cheap mini pendant with ballast!

Well, more like 7 hours left from say 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and 7 hours right from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. That way, you'll have a total photo period of 9 hours. You can play around with that depending on how long you want to light your tank. Keep all your high light requiring corals in the middle of the tank so they get the maximum exposure.
