U sure that's bryposis??...On a brand new tank with all new rock?? It looks like some type of hair algae. Look into Phosphate E. it's liquid phosphate removal. Do u have a fuge? If so, is it up and running?
I do have a fuge, it's been running since the tank was setup 3 weeks now. I have HA down there as well. It does look different in the fuge.

I had bryposis in my tank, and I raised mag with Kent tech m. It worked great. But the pics u posted look nothing like the bryposis I had in my tank.

This is what the bryopsis looked like in my tank. Thick bushy green algae

If u do have bryposis, make sure u use kent tech m only. Lots of articles online about it. Other company's mag won't kill bryopsis. There's so something in tech m that kills it.

So yes, no on the mag?
Well if this guy is right, then yes Kent Tech M is ur fix. If u buy it, buy the gallon. I got rid of mine in a week, i kinda over dosed. Some of my zoos turned pale. But they came back. If all u have is fish, u will be fine

BUT I'm not convinced its bryopsis. I was always under the impression that bryopsis had to be introduced into a tank. Like via a frag or maybe a rock u got from another reefer. I didn't think it could just pop up in ur tank. All ur rock was dry when u started right?

Yes that's correct, all my rock was dry. I did use 5g of water from my nano, but I don't have any HA there.

I say if its hair algae, you gotta lower your nutrients in the tank and siphon it out- also check how old your bulbs are.

Bryopsis has what looks like fronds on it. You can also get rid of bryopsis with a lettuce nudibranch. I know Tongs in FV carries them.

I'm not feeding much, just some pellets once a day for the 5 chromis. Funny thing about this algae it seems like it grows mainly in the center of the tank, and that's where the AI Vegas are lighting, or were lighting. Haven't turned on the lights in 4 days.
