the mouth on that thing is awesome... it looks like the creature from star wars episone 6 when they are having to walk the plank into the desert worm thingy...

this cucumber does nothing but eat and poop sand. it is like a tunnel boring machine. it moves sand one foot from where it started, and they look like sandy rabbit pellets...

and the pink zoas, were pictured when they were just waking up, lights werent on yet, but when they are awake, all you see is zoa heads and skirts... that colny is about 6 inches long and about 3 inches tall and three inches wide

the younger or newer polyps are most definately pinker, the more mature has that lived in pink look...

Bill,

My recommendation to you is to turn off the flash mode on your camera. If you have a manual mode set it onmanual and use the light in your tank to illuminate your pictures. Turn flash off on camera, turn lights in tank on and play with shutter and aperture settigns until you get a clear picture. Guarantee you will have a picture that is more vibrant and truer to what you actually see then flash shots. That is if you have a manual lmode on the camera. Some dont have that feature.

Do you have a tripod? Do you turn off some off your power heads and let some of the marine snow settle? These are a couple of tips that I received from SteveU a while back. HTH
