So I connected my CaRx last week. Been running about 5 days now. I got the special washer for the CO2 tank/regulator interface. I even got my crescent wrench and tightened it about as tight as I would for my SCUBA regulator. Well it was about 900psi when I hooked it up and I just noticed it was at about 300psi. I soaped it down and found a fizzer of a leak at the CO2 tank/regulator interface. D'oh! I tightened it again even tighter till it was on as tight as I could get it. Then I soaped it. No leak.
My logic was this: SCUBA regs will pressurize and seal themselves...surely CO2 regs do the same...WRONG!!!!!!!!
Learn from my mistake. ALWAYS soap test your CO2 fittings.
End of rant.
