LOL, what's funny is I thought the same thing, I don't just want to use the lens to take pictures of ridges of corals. What sweet is you can actually switch it to shoot like a 100mm telephoto lens. It actually takes great telephoto pictures.

nice close up pics of corals. I mainly like the paly/zoa ones since you can still see the entire coral .:smile (2):
Thanks Kat... I agree with you...actually my favorite picture is of the Undata. Because not only does it have amazing coloration, but as you said you can see the whole colony. I have a couple other big big ones at the bottom of my tank, but they are not colored up yet.

Nice lens Mike, where did you get it? I want one :)
Kev, you can find them pretty much any camera store. If it were me I would get it online you will probably save a couple bucks. Check Amazon.com, B&H Photo, Adorama.com. Those are all great sites and very reputable for camera gear. I personally get all mine on either Amazon, or Adorama. Remember: It is a higher skill and more advanced lens, if you ask many people who try and use it they can't figure out how it really works.

But, I tell you what you get one, kick me a frag or two and I will help you....lol

B&H Photo that's where I got my Canon SLR......no sales tax if you buy it there and it's pretty cheap compared to anywhere else.....
Yea they do have great prices for sure.

by the way nice pictures OCreefmaster....lets see the fishies =)
Cardinal

Yellow Tang

The fish are very hard to get, because you have to open the aperture to let more light in, problem is your shutter speed decreases significantly. So, you will get blurry photos if you aren't careful but these two aren't bad.
