Im 50 50 on a mystery wrasse guys. I really like the look of the fish but i wanted to know if its a good idea?
What are the pros and cons to this fish. I got a leopard and a yellow corris wrasse in my tank already.
Would this new wrasse get along with them.
I want to get more wrasses in the future, will this limit the wrasses i can put in later on?
Also will it eat my shrimp, crabs, snail and stuff like that. Thanks for the help guys

well i got a funny story for you.
so i had a customer come in and said he had a mystery wrasse that had some ick on it, he wanted a cleaner shrimp.
i told him that his wrasse will eat the shrimp but he said it was worth the risk.
so he dropped the shrimp in and it did not even hit the sand bed before it was swallowed whole.
when he came back and told me what happen i said well did you tell your wrasse it was a topical medication not oral LMAO.

love the mystery wrasse, they are great fish. find one that is the right size & adequate for your size tank. i've owned a mystery wrasse for years now, along with clams, shrimps, crabs, snails, slugs & other inverts & never bothered them. they are usually preoccupied hovering your live rock, hunting pest, pods, beneficial & nuisance critters. they are always active & on the hunt, because of that behavior, they get right along with any other wrasse. they are a joy to watch. at first they are very timid & keep hidden, but once they get used to you, they will go as far as to hover around your hand & arm, searching for food. on top, they are great looking fish. they remind me of those avatar dragons, they have great coloration & markings, pretty neat. its one fish, you will definitely enjoy. happy reefing.
