Its been 6+ months since I aquired these corals & started a 24g nano cube, a few I bought from SWCFM earlier this yr. Long Beach Reefer here!!!

24g nanocube
Light:175wt SE ebay 20k w/modified hood, snail fainx1 in, stock fan x3 out
20% water change q week Pro Salt
Supp: Couple drops of Kent Mg,Str, Ca q day
Supp: 1 Drop of Lugols every other day
Supp: Kalk 1 drop q 3 sec @ night with tom aquatics aqualift/roller clamp/tube
Going to put a 12k Reeflux w/ 9w PC actinic

I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. Im not achieving the color I'd like , but growth has been pretty good. I went with the light cuz thats what I had laying around. Im also running 2 Hydor, 1 nano pump with Red sea wavemaster & the stock JBJ return pump. Tried using a mini current skimmer but it sucked... Waiting for saphire. trying to figure out how 2 post pics, avatar pic from a couple months back

I say switch the bulb out to a ushio 14k and ditch that ebay bulb...Thats probably why you arent getting the color you want

Thanks everyone!!! Took a look @ the Ushio 14k, I have a M57 ballast. XM15k or hamiliton14k maybe. Id like a bulb that wouldn't need actinic, don't want to introduce more heat w/ another bulb.

XM 15K bulbs suck so dont waste your time with one of those. Tha hamilton is ok but the ushio 14K puts out some awesome PAR
