Hello All:
I have a 55gal 36*18*20 for about 1 year, Just as it was starting to get I found we were going to move in January. So I shut down the tank sold all the live stock. Now I have the tank sitting in my garage. This was my first tank which i setup without a sump. Once we move I will setup the tank again. My question is should

1) Should I keep this tank and drill holes for a overflow and get a sump. (The tank is glass BTW and don't think its Tampered)
2) Should I Sell the tank and buy a bigger tank with the sump already form the marketplace here or through Craigslist.

I kept soft corals and some zoas in it and had like 6 fish in it. What do yall think.

Here some pics

Ditch the tank buy a better one already drilled...
I am selling a 180g for $300..tank are cheap drilling and installing overflows could cost that and it's not nearly as nice..no point..
Anyone got any got any hookups with tank manufactures or should i try to build it myself

180g is just over a nano...lol....but what I mean is unless you really like the dims on your tank..start fresh..cad lights tank are respectable in price or used even better
lol , CAD lights are good wahat about SC Aquariums, I am also going towards starting fresh. probably gonna look for one used once i am ready. any experience on a DIY tank?? is it even worth it??.

don't quote me but I believe cad and sc are the same Chinese made tanks..change the name...Its not hard to do an overflow if you have the skill and material..but for the price you can always find a decent used tank for less or a new tank for slightly more...

I have a SCA and love it. Can't beat the price for starphire and the skimmer/return pumps that come with them are decent.

I always like to error on the big and it seems like a lot of folks agree, but remember the bigger the tank, the more you're going to pay for everything... Maintenance, livestock, gear, materials... Go big, if you can swing it, but remember the cost factor down the road.
