Need advice regarding lighting scheldule

Hey guys can you guys advice me on my lighting cycle? 12 hours a day? 14 hours? when should i put on my day light when for my actinic?

I am running my both 3 day light and 1 actinic for 8 hours, then 1 day light +1 actinic for 4 hours then all lights off. Am i doing it right? please let me know what i can do. this would be a tank for both fish and corals.

Is the tank inhabited?
what type of light?
single swith for all 4 or individual?
when are you home to appreciate your tank or is there someone else at home to see the beauty of the tank?

the tank is empty for now just live sand and rocks. i am using a t5 fixture with two daylight, and one power compact 50/50. so total two switch. i am a vampire jk jk so i sleep during the day and stay up at night roughly 7 am to 3 is when i sleep, but yeah i seriously sleep during day. i want to know the best light cycle for when i have fish + coral. as for now tank is empty so i just leave the 50/50 on for 8 hours a day.

So your still cycling the water, 2 to 4 hrs a day is ok it sun color light will be better bacteria will grow faster, if you can get another T5 and get rid of the PC it will be alot better

sounds good, how about when i add livestock such as coral and fish? then how should the lighting cycle should be.

I have mine set up like
2pm actinic 24" on (dawn)
4pm main light on
10pm main light off
12 midnight actinic 24" off (dusk)
