This morning for some reason after I topped off my sump with some water the overflow in the main display tank over flowed and drains into the tank about to over fill the tank. The sump runs all the water in it into the main tank, why is it doing this? How can I stop it?

There's a picture of the overflow and the last sump chamber, I don't have a picture of it actually overflowing but when I turn the return pump on all the water goes from the sump into the overflow and eventually flows back into the display tank.

Check your drain line to see if anything got stuck in there.

Maybe there's a problem with the return? It's not sucking water back into the sump. What could be causing that?

I detached and reattached the drain. It seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks for your help guys. That was a real inexperienced mistake. Thanks again for helping me through yet another obstacle haha.
