Hi All,

Just picked up my new sump and now I need to figure out what sock holder to pick up. I'm doing the Herbie System so I'll have the main drain with just a trickle in the backup drain. My thoughts were a 7" sock with both drains running into it.

Please post links of what you think will work with my new sump

Most sock holders arent going to fit over the trim. Youll have to cut the trim around the sock holder. Pretty much any holder will work if you do that

I also thought about trimming the holder and using epoxy to mount the holder to the side of the sump under the trim line

That's what I did, both drains into one sock. A union on each to pull the sock out.

Just get a piece of acrylic or eggcrate that spans the sump and cut a hole for sock holder.

There's always a million diff DIY options... I went to Lowes and got a 6" PVC pipe. I think the original length was 24". Cut mine to about 18", and drilled 2-2.5" holes in it.
