My xenia is taking over my tank...I need to get some of it out of my tank. I can't remove the rock they are on cause of other corals that are the rock.

If you don't mind killing it you can maybe try a small hose (1/2") to siphon them out. Put a sock on the output of the hose so it will catch them. You will have to kind of scrape them with the hose. Make sure you get all the floating parts or else they will land somewhere and grow, lol

Thank you for that advice...I will make that my last choice. I would to remove it safely to give to other reefers that would like some...

If you have bone cutters try to cut the rock that they are growing on. Go to town and get them out....longer you wait the more out of hand they are gonna get.

At the moment I'm putting pieces of rubble rock up against them and when they attach then I'll remove until I get my fragging kit from marine depot..
