ok so i talked about this earlier in the year, but i am going to have my 5 year anniversary next month. i wanted to use an all in one frag tank as a cake stand with fish and coral in it. everything is all built standwise and the tank fits perfectly on it. i want to use a sheet of acrylic to go over the top so you can still see the tank from above as well as the sides, but the cake will sit on top of that.
i was thinking of using stunner strips and having the acrylic supported by arms above the tank (one at each corner maybe) so:
-there will be plenty of room for the lights
-room for oxygen exchange.
anyone have any better ideas? im really not that handy and would be willing to pay someone in frags or cash to help me with this.
