So I got accepted to med school so I'm suppose to leave mid June. Now I have a 150g don't think parents will be able to maintain it as a reef. Should I risk it? I will leave it as a FOWLR. And most likely do a nano over there.
Or second option will be break it down?
What do you guys think?

First, CONGRATS on med school. Secondly, if you think your parents share your passion for this hobby then leave it. If it's gonna be a chore for them then I say donate the tank to someone that will love it and hug it and squeeze it and cherish it forever.................................like me ; )

your parents are going to let everything die... i would break down... or hire someone to maintain it... either way, your parents aren't going to be able to do what is necessary to keep the tank happy...

and congrats... where you moving off too...?

Go to med school...study hard...graduate...make shiet load of $$$...get a huge monster tank later in your huge mansion...lots of hot T&A and corals too if you want...too lazy to clean tank?...have the hot T&A take turn cleaning it while you watch. I can go on and on but that should be enough motivation I think.

I would also advise to go into cosmetic surgery but have to agree with Jesse on your chopping skills :behindsofa:

+1 on breakdown , what's the point of keeping a tank for 2 years if you won't even get to enjoy it.
