Im contimplating setting up a small frag/shallow tank, and I'd like to go leds.

tank would be 8" by 24" x 36" and house LPS ands zoas (maybe some clams)

Would like to use the 6 x 20 heatsink from rapidled, or something similar, and have a wide spread to cover the tank.
I have 2 meanwell 48p drivers already.

any recommendations or advice from experience?

or good sites/sources to buy from?

Thanks in Advance

Im wanting to do pretty much the same setup. I really want to ditch my current t5s and go led. Have u thought about using a couple of par38s ? I also saw that ecoxotic has started making led sets instead of strips. Let me know what u find out and ill let u know if I hear anything interesting : )

Check out aquastyle LEDs. They sell bridgelux 3w LEDs.

I have 90 of them above my 180 and i have SPS growing no problem. I also have clams and nems at the bottom of my 24" tall tank and theyre doing great. In a tank that small you could prolly get away with 24. If u order from them I would suggest 3:1 ratio (blue:white) and I would suggest using a couple greens, and a couple reds.
