ok, so i was vodka dosing and had gfo, and carbon and skimmer going for the last 6 months. water was so clean maybe to clean, had no algae ect..ect.. i slowly stoped vodka dosing about 2 months ago still running rowaphos and carbon. phospates still read zero and so do nitrates, but still have a mess of brown algae that grows on sand and some red slime algae on rocks and trys to grow over the corals. if my readings are zero should i just get more clean up crew. its my understanding that 0 nitrates and 0 phosphates is not necessarily the best for sps. so just wondering what i should do as far as getting rid of algae. while keeping some nutrients available for sps. thanks.

Dinos and Cyanobacteria don't need a lot of nutrients to take over. I would suggest bacteria dosing or chemiclean.
