I'm looking to get a new LED light for my 30 x 24 x 22 reef tank. With my budget, I think I have narrowed down my top three picks to the Maxspect Razor 16K 27 inch, the AI Vega or the Kessil a350W. My concern is coverage from the AI & Kessil. Based on my dimensions above, what would be the best for my tank? I am growing both LPS & SPS. Is one Kessil or AI enough to cover or would I need two. Or should I go with the Razor? I've been getting mixed info from my LFS and online vendors...now I'm not sure what to do. Help would be much appreciated...

With the Razor and AI, you would have more control over the variations in color. So I would first eliminate the Kessil based on that. I don't even think the larger 350w Kessil cannon would be enough for the entire tank or give you the spread you would want.

Based on the spectrum I would go with the Razor. I've never tried either so yea...

Aquatic Life also came out with a nice fixture recently with mulitple colored LEDS so maybe look into that one also.

Vega is bad *** IMO (I've invested in them with three Vegas).

The vega will cover 20x20. They say 24x24 but I dunno.

I have a 48" wide x 30 deep x 26" talk tank.

Two covered the tank a it looked good. Three looks good !

Why not build your own? I built mine using parts from rapidled.com. I don't have a lot of wiring experience but I was able to wire 12 3w LED's without much of a problem. The retail units seems ridiculously expensive.
