Hey guys im currently looking for suggestions on led lights. I want to get a affordable led system and wanted to know whats out there. I would prefer to get a led system that doesnt require hanging so it can go under my canopy. But would still want full spectrum. All your guys input is appreciated. Also another question is it better to do led or do the hybrid lighting with the t5 and led moonlighting system because I seen a few of those for a descent price.

I run Radions and suggested the Ocean Revive T247 to a buddy of mine. The fixture is amazing. I even got one for my frag tank. There are people who also have shared their experiences and posted their results on other forums. They out compete any LED except for a Radion IME. Do some research and check them out.

wouldn't you be able to mod the canopy where you could hang some reef radiance or reefbreeders lights from inside the canopy?

I was thinking of modifying the canopy. I just want to make sure I get a decent priced led light that will be able to keep nice coral in my tank because I plan to buy lots of coral in the future.

You could try the reefbreeders value pack, or buildmyled fixtures. They're both cheap and seems to work for people. I personally have the buildmyled fixture and I found it sufficient for my tank... However, I'm not too sure what the limits of these fixtures are, but its working for me and my corals. I also have a canopy, and I ended up drilling 2 holes through the canopy to hang my lights directly onto the canopy.
