Haha nice! How did you set up the drain/return, what sizes? I thought I would go with 1/2" (input from my manifold), 1" drain, 1 1/2" emergency drain... the latter might be overkill though, maybe 1 1/4" would be sufficient.

I'm trying to avoid buying the saws, funds are tight :p
I just did 1" drain and 3/4" return, I can adjust the flow with ball valve :) well just do 2- 1" drains and one 3/4" return... fuge shouldn't have that much flow anyways.... thats just me tho!

Huh, I thought the emergency drain was supposed to be a little bigger? I'll still need to get the saw for the 1/2" bulkhead, I'm running it off my manifold and only have 1/2" outlets. >.< Which are pointed 180 degrees in the wrong direction... more parts needed. *sigh*

Nope, its just in case the main one gets clogged it will go on the second one... (same water flow just different hole) Easy you can do a 3/4" threaded to 1/2" barb (reducer) ... I got a solution to everything! lol jk post a pic of your sump...

Yeah my 1" herbie drain is handling the flow from my mag drive 24 and is still throttled back 1/2 way. You'll most likely be cutting it back as well, assuming you're going with a syphon style set up.

If you were pushing the flow capacity of the syphon drain, then you'd want to go bigger on the emergency, since it would not be syphoned with the main clogged. But you should be fine with 2 1" drains.
