Hey, Yep they are just stiff. But for good reason, if they were loose enough to move easily then when you ramp them up the would just slip. They are a great pump though. Goodluck!

I like how much control it gives you. You can control every single minute of flow in any number of waves. They move water like crazy. I have mine at 60 percent max in a 225 mixed reef. They are quiet and they are small in the tank. I recommend it!

Is this with two wav? Cus I bought two starter packs for the 220 I have, thinking 4 would give me more varied flow patterns and able to to run them lower.

Thinking about getting these.. What do you guys think compared to vortechs?
I had a choice between mp40s or these, wav was cheaper. More redundancy, the pumps auto shut off if they fall off or taken out of water. But for me it was that they are powered by the 1link. One unit can power up to three pumps meaning I get less wires all over the place also frees up plug space. I have black painted back panal, with the wav able to tilt 40 both ways I think I'm able to keep them on the back wall without seeing the wires.

Would 1link support 2 wav there doser and the coming pump? This the only reason that hold me until the new pump comes out.

One 1link can power three devices. Iirc it's 100w max, so like two wav and a doser, two wav and the pump or two pumps etc etc

Do u think they will have version 2 of this 1link that will support wav, doser and the new pump? I'm going with there new pump as I am disappointed with my m1 since they don't work with my apex.

Thats with 2 wav but keep in mind no tank is similar. I have lots of rock but its tongs so i get goof flow through it. You may need 4 depending on your setup.

I have a lot of dense rock Pukani, tonga shelves and Fiji. I opted for buying 4 wavs just got to get my rock all cemented so I can decide where to mount these.

They might have a ver2 but I doubt it, right now I think run 1link works really well. Three devices plus two extra ports for future upgrades. The said you can have 2 wavs and a Vos, so assuming the Vos is 40w or under since the wavs are 35w each. I'd probably get a second 1link even if it's under 100w, just to be safe. I have a 220g and the Vos isn't big enough for me, maybe to power a manifold but that's it. If they do make a larger Vos modal, maybe something like 4kgph they might bring out 1link v2 to handle the extra power needed. As for the M1, I bought a L1 for my setup, although I haven't had it running yet. But is there a real need to have the apex function? I was under the impression that you key is the right flow at the start and that's it? I've read that the L1 can automatically since a change in pressure and add or subtract power to compensate? I mean aside from a close loop there isn't a real need to change the flow pattern on a return pump?
